The meeting was held at the University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Hospital (Room 1420). The event featured expert lectures and discussions on neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) management. Professor Michael To Kai-tsun opened the session, followed by Dr Chen Senmin's interpretation of the 2025 expert consensus on plexiform neurofibroma management. Dr Mo Shu discussed full-course care for NF1, and Professor To shared orthopaedic case insights.
A panel discussion addressed key topics, such as skin manifestation treatments, neurodevelopmental interventions in children, early orthopaedic complication management, NF1-PN treatment goals, and balancing drug efficacy with side effects. Distinguished guests, including Professor Huang Zifang and Professor Wang Siyang, contributed valuable insights. Over 30 healthcare professionals from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region attended, fostering lively exchanges. The event enhanced clinical knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration in NF1 care.
