Over 200 clinical nurses and nurse educators from more than 28 hospitals and institutions joined the workshop, hosted by the HKU School of Nursing.
The workshop commenced with an overview of Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) Programme and Master of Science in Nursing Programme, followed by an insightful session on mentoring fundamentals and strategies for effective mentoring. A highlight of the workshop was the interactive, scenario-based group activities, which provided participants with hands-on opportunities to refine their mentoring skills in realistic clinical contexts.
We were delighted to receive positive feedback from participants, who found the workshop both enriching and impactful. Beyond achieving its learning objectives, the workshop helped instil greater confidence and competence in our clinical mentors in fulfilling their roles.
