This lecture, delivered by Professor Jason Wong Wing-hon, provided students with an engaging introduction to the rapidly evolving field of bioinformatics. The students also engaged in interactive hands-on analysis of DNA sequences and comparison and gained insights into the learning experience and school life at HKU from student sharing.
The taster lecture offered students an excellent opportunity to explore potential careers in bioinformatics, sparked their interest in the subject, and provided a valuable overview of its significance in modern science and healthcare.
