The workshop brought together clinical and research colleagues from various disciplines to explore the transformative potential of data integration. The event featured a one-hour research showcase with presentations by Professor Peter Tanuseputro, Professor Doris Yu and Professor David Bishai, focusing on novel datasets, late-life functional trajectories, and place and health. This was followed by dynamic brainstorming sessions aimed at generating innovative research questions, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and strategizing funding proposals. Over 30 colleagues from various HKU faculties united to explore innovative research ideas, interdisciplinary partnerships and strategic opportunities for securing research funding. The workshop contributed to shaping the future of primary healthcare research through big data and collaboration.
