This full-day workshop for perioperative nurses combined lectures and hands-on training to enhance understanding of arthroscopic procedures, instrument preparation, and nursing care before and after surgery. Participants earned CNE points and gained practical insights into surgical teamwork and patient management. The morning sessions covered clinical topics, such as rotator cuff tear management, anterior shoulder instability, ACL and PCL reconstruction, and meniscal repair techniques. The lectures were delivered by experts, including Professor Wong Tak-man, Dr Cheng Sze-chung and Dr Woo Siu-bon. The nursing-focused lectures addressed perioperative care for shoulder and knee arthroscopy. The afternoon session featured a hands-on workshop across six stations, allowing the participants to practice instrument handling and procedural support under the guidance of orthopaedic surgeons and experienced perioperative nurses.
