We are delighted to announce the successful holding of the 14th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum, the 2024 Sino US Nursing Forum, and the 2nd Greater Bay Area Nursing Conference, jointly organised by the School of Nursing of The University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong – Shenzhen Hospital (HKU-SZH). The theme of the event was ‘Cross-Boundary Collaboration for Future Nursing’, focusing on how nursing professionals can collaborate globally. Discussions explored the challenges and opportunities in an interconnected world. Co-organised with 47 universities, the forum drew over 400 delegates worldwide. It began with addresses by Professor Kenneth Cheung and Professor Chia-Chin Lin. Keynote speakers included Mr James Chau and Professors Angela Frederick Amar, Christine E Kasper, Nancy R Reynolds, Zheng Li, Yan Hu, Bei Wu and June Zhang, who shared valuable insights on innovations in healthcare and research, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. Oral and poster presenters showcased their research findings, and delegates praised the enriching and engaging atmosphere at the conference, which fostered learning and networking. The forum concluded with a ceremony led by Professors Patsy Chau and Edmond Choi recognising best poster awards. Post-forum events included the U21 Health Sciences Group Nursing and Midwifery Discipline Group Research Postgraduate Symposium and Simulation Seminar.
