To celebrate the accomplishments of the MBBS Class of 2024 and to help them get well-prepared for their one-year internship as housemen, an Internship and Career Support Sharing and Graduation Celebration was held on the HKUMed Campus.
Presiding at the sharing session were Dr Nelson Wat Ming-sun, Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine, Professor Albert Chan Chi-yan, Clinical Professor of the Department of Surgery, and Dr Sarah Chan So-ching, representative of the HKU Medical Alumni Association, who shared with the students survival tips and job application techniques as medical practitioners.
The graduation celebration was graced by the presence of Professor Rosie Young Tse-tse, former Dean of Medicine, as well as the deanery and teachers. The relentless efforts and hard work of the students throughout the years were highly appreciated. The event offered a precious opportunity for the students to express their gratitude to their beloved teachers and to mingle with their fellow students.
