The five-day intensive on-site course, held on the HKUMed Campus, was attended by local and international postgraduate research students, early postdocs and junior clinical scientists.
Under the theme ‘Translational Immunology’, the Croucher Summer Course highlighted groundbreaking advancements in the field and provided a catalyst for forging new connections among faculty members, young academics and postgraduate students. It encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians and scientists to translate scientific discoveries into practical bedside applications. The programme featured a panel of distinguished clinical and academic immunologists, providing attendees with a unique opportunity to explore the latest breakthroughs in cancer immunology, autoimmunity, infection and immunity, and immunodeficiencies. Renowned experts in these specialised fields led a blend of focused group discussions, interactive tutorials and hands-on workshops, creating a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange.
