Twenty teams composed of HKUMed medical and nursing students competed in the preliminary round and four teams advanced to the final of the Ares Leung Clinical Skills Competition (‘Sim War’). The interprofessional teams worked together to handle emergencies in the ward using their knowledge and skills. ‘Sim War’ is a good opportunity for medical and nursing students from different professional fields to learn to deal with common or complex cases in the real environment through simulation scenarios. After the competition, the medical and nursing teachers also provided advice and guidance to the participating students.
