The year 2023 marks the 40th anniversary of this meeting, which is regarded as one of the most prestigious meetings in the surgical community in Hong Kong and Asia. To celebrate 40th anniversary, the meeting is a 3-day conference that covers various surgical specialties. Topics are of current interest to both general surgeons and surgeons in more specialized fields. The Department of Surgery published a commemorative book as the official companion to this milestone occasion.
