The First University of Edinburgh/HKU Joint Symposium and Workshop on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine was jointly organised by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBMS), HKUMed and the Institute for Regeneration and Repair, The University of Edinburgh (UoE). Visitors included Professor Keisuke Kaji, Dr Abdenour Soufi, and Dr Marieke Hoeve from UoE, as well as some UoE students. Guests from UoE delivered workshops, talks and had meetings with the academic staff of SBMS. The Interchange Award Pitch Presentation was organized on the second day of this Symposium to foster knowledge exchange between university students and academic staff of the two universities.
