The 217th Congregation Ceremony of the LKS Faculty of Medicine will be held on 11 July 2026 (Saturday) at Grand Hall, Centennial Campus, The University of Hong Kong.
The Ceremony is one of the most significant events for our Faculty's graduates. It will be a memorable occasion for them to celebrate their joy and achievements with their fellow classmates, teachers and family members*. It marks the completion of an important milestone in their study life, and signifies the start of a new chapter in their life-long professional endeavours.
All graduands are encouraged to participate. Please mark the date!
*Remarks:
- Due to limited seating capacity of Grand Hall, graduands will be conferred in the Grand Hall and you may invite your family and friends to witness this memorable occasion of yours at the Live Broadcast locations.
Graduate Employment Survey
All graduands are invited to participate in the Graduate Employment Survey 2026 which launched by CEDARS - Careers and Placement to collect employment related information of graduates. Those who have completed the survey will get a free gift. Please visit https://cedars.hku.hk/ges/newgrad for details.
Registration
Registration must be made through the online system only. Due to limited seating capacity of Grand Hall, some graduands may be assigned to Lecture Hall with live broadcast of the Ceremony. Each graduand can request up to two Live Broadcast guest tickets, to be provided on a first come, first served basis and be assigned at HKU Centennial Campus, Main Campus or Medical Campus. Graduands who have genuine need for the early issuance of the graduation certificate (expected to be available for collection around mid-June 2026) for the purpose of employment or further studies could choose to participate in a virtual Congregation held on 9 June 2026. Graduands can ONLY choose to participate in either the virtual Congregation OR the in-person Congregation. Graduands cannot attend both.
