【最新消息】港大醫學院內科學系司徒偉基教授獲授予美國肝病研究學會會士

美國肝病研究學會（AASLD）是世界主要的肝病研究非牟利機構，由致力從事肝病研究、預防及治療工作的科學家及醫護專業人員組成。近日，該學會宣布選出33位肝臟科專家為會士 (Fellow)，以表彰他們在肝臟及膽道疾病的研究及臨床治療所作出的重大貢獻，而港大醫學院臨床醫學學院內科學系臨床教授、李國賢基金教授(腸胃學) 司徒偉基教授獲授予美國肝病研究學會會士。

司徒偉基教授是腸胃肝臟科專科醫生，研究慢性肝病的專家。他曾研究病毒性肝炎、脂肪肝疾病、肝纖維化與肝癌，並與腸道微生物、創新生物技術與人工智慧等領域進行跨學科合作。根據《科睿唯安》(Clarivate Analytics)，司徒教授的研究自2020年起每年名列全球前 1%，他發表了 350 多篇國際期刊論文及書章，包括在《Lancet》, 《Journal of Clinical Oncology》,  《Lancet Global Health》,《Journal of Hepatology》, 《Gut》等高影響因子學術期刊，其中大部分研究與慢性肝病相關。司徒教授也獲頒香港大學2025年傑出研究學者獎 。
