Objectives:
Diabetes is growing health problem worldwide. Hong Kong, China and other Asian countries are facing the same dilemma. The aim of this ASI is to bring together leading scientists to present their latest findings in diabetes and its complications. This will also provide a forum for local scientists from Hong Kong, China and other Asian countries who are actively working in these areas to discuss and interact. New areas of research and collaboration to combat this devastating disease will emerge from these presentations/ discussions/ demonstrations. |
