Welcome Message

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has established HKU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Network (HKUADR Network) of the SRT Aging, as one of the University Strategic Research Themes in 2008. The Network aims to enforce collaborative works in scientific research from public health to basic and clinical science. With the success of Alzheimer’s Disease Conference in years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014, we organize the fifth Conference this year to promote Alzheimer’s Disease research in Hong Kong.

In this “International Alzheimer’s Disease Conference 2015”, 10 distinguished overseas and 24 outstanding local scientists and clinicians will share their experience in Alzheimer’s disease, from dementia and care giving, basic science and genetics in Alzheimer’s disease, to treatment and prevention, imaging and biomarkers, detection, policy, and non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventions in Alzheimer’s disease. We can learn the experience from scientists and specialists all over the world and establish collaboration via this face-to-face scientific conference.
