About the Summit

The Hong Kong Summit of Global Health Leaders is a flagship event of the 130th anniversary celebrations. Thought leaders from Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau, Asia, Canada, the UK and Europe, and the US come together to network and discuss key global health issues of our time: new challenges arising from the evolving global geo-economic-political environment, future models of training the next generation of health professionals, and the meaning of a New Silk Road to Health under the “Belt and Road” vision.

This Summit is presented by the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine and co-organised by the Asian Medical Education Association (AMEA) and Chatham House, The Royal Institute of International Affairs, UK. It is generously supported by the Shun Tak Holdings – Dr. Stanley Ho Hung Sun Foundation as its inaugural programme.
