To enhance people's understanding on the latest development of cutting-edge medical technology in Hong Kong, and to strengthen the public's knowledge on different health issues as well as enhance their awareness on the prevention of and latest treatments for diseases, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong is co-organising the "Explore the World of Medicine" Public Lecture Series 2017 with the Hong Kong Public Libraries this year.

This is the eleventh consecutive years that this community health education programme has been organised. Comprising a total of eight lectures to be held from March to June and September to December 2017, academics from the Faculty will share their professional knowledge and illustrate their fruits of research in different medical disciplines.

Lectures are conducted in Cantonese.
