With financial supports from the University Development Fund and the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the Human Adult and Embryonic Stem Cells Culture Core Facility, located in Room LB 802 of the Laboratory Block, 21 Sassoon Road, is now up and running and available for booking. The facility is the joint effort from the Research Centre of Heart, Brain, Hormone and Healthy Aging; Centre for Cancer Research; and Centre for Reproduction, Development and Growth from the Li Ka Shing Facility of Medicine as part of the strategic development for stem cell research in our Faculty. The Facility serves to provide a one-stop service for technical training and expertise in human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The services are available to all the investigators within the Faculty as well as the University General support letters for grant applications are also available.
