The East West Alliance

The East-West Alliance is an international network of Asian and Western medical research faculties initiated by the HKU Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. The Alliance aims to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among leading medical institutions on high-impact research and educational projects.

Members, which are the beneficiaries of the Li Ka Shing Foundation, of the Alliance in 2014 include:

The 2014 East-West Alliance Global Symposia, which will be hosted by the HKU Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, will be organized along two themes: “MOOCs in Postmodern Asia” as well as "Big Data and Precision Medicine” on October 27 and 28, 2014 (Monday and Tuesday).
