Health, Health-Related Quality of Life and Primary Care Services Utilisation of Low-Income Families

Objective and Significance:

To evaluate the health, health-related quality of life and primary care services of low income families to identify modifiable risk factors and service gaps in order to improve their health outcomes.

Research Plan and Methodology:

A 5-year cohort study to collect health, health-related quality of life, and health service utilization of 400 low-income families (~1000 subjects) to evaluate the effect of subject characteristics, lifestyle, and health promotion activities on health outcomes.
