To provide support for candidates to undertake clinical/research exchange.
Suitably qualified clinical academics at professorial level from tertiary institutions in Mainland China.
2. Senior Clinical Fellow (normally 7 awards each year) for a training period of 3 months
a. HK$33,000 per month on a pro-rata basis (honorarium); and
b. HK$3,500 (round-trip economy airfare from the original city in Mainland China to Hong Kong)*
To provide support for candidates to acquire advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
Candidates possessing a medical first degree from recognised tertiary institutions and currently working as Vice-Chief Physician (副主任医师) or Chief Physician (主任医师) in recognised hospitals, preferably affiliated to tertiary institutions, in Mainland China.
3. Clinical Fellow (normally 7 awards each year) for a training period of 3 months
a. HK$28,000 per month on a pro-rata basis (honorarium); and
b. HK$3,500 (round-trip economy airfare from the original city in Mainland China to Hong Kong)*
To provide support for candidates to acquire advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
Candidates possessing a medical first degree from recognised tertiary institutions and currently working as Resident (住院医师) or Attending Physician (主治医师) in recognised hospitals, preferably affiliated to tertiary institutions, in Mainland China.
4. Senior Clinical Research Fellow (normally 6 awards each year) for a training period of 4 months
a. HK$33,000 per month on a pro-rata basis (honorarium); and
b. HK$3,500 (round-trip economy airfare from the original city in Mainland China to Hong Kong)*
To provide support for candidates to acquire advanced clinical skills and knowledge and conduct a research project relevant to their clinical specialties.
Candidates possessing a medical first degree from recognised tertiary institutions and currently working as Vice-Chief Physician (副主任医师) or Chief Physician (主任医师) in recognised hospitals, preferably affiliated to tertiary institutions, in Mainland China.
5. Clinical Research Fellow (normally 6 awards each year) for a training period of 4 months
a. HK$28,000 per month on a pro-rata basis (honorarium); and
b. HK$3,500 (round-trip economy airfare from the original city in Mainland China to Hong Kong)*
To provide support for candidates to acquire advanced clinical skills and knowledge and conduct a research project relevant to their clinical specialties.
Candidates possessing a medical first degree from recognised tertiary institutions and currently working as Resident (住院医师) or Attending Physician (主治医师) in recognised hospitals, preferably affiliated to tertiary institutions, in Mainland China.
6. Health Care Management Fellow (normally 4 awards each year) for a training period of 1 month
a. HK$28,000 per month on a pro-rata basis (honorarium); and
b. HK$3,500 (round-trip economy airfare from the original city in Mainland China to Hong Kong)*
To provide support for candidates to acquire the hospital management skills of international standard.
Senior administrators at managerial level in recognised hospitals, preferably affiliated to tertiary institutions.
