A talk in the Distinguished Lecture Series on Eastern and Western Medicine, titled ‘Original Research on Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Rheumatic Diseases’, organised by the School of Chinese Medicine at HKU, was held on 8 October 2024. The seminar was delivered by Mr Liu Liang, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Guangdong Laboratory of TCM.

On 6 November 2024, the Distinguished Lecture Series on Eastern and Western Medicine featured a lecture titled ‘Targeting the Discovery of Glycans from Herbal Medicine’, organised by the School of Chinese Medicine, HKU. The Seminar was delivered by Professor Ding Kan, supervisor and Principal Investigator of the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Executive Vice Director of the Zhongshan Institute of Materia Medica Innovation.

The seminar was delivered by Academician Yao Xinsheng, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Honorary Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Jinan University.

On 21 March 2025, the School of Chinese Medicine, HKU, organised the Distinguished Lecture Series on Eastern and Western Medicine, titled ‘Luobing Theory and the Cardiovascular Continuum: Mechanisms and Clinical Evidence in Heart Failure Treatment’. The seminar was delivered by Professor Li Xinli, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory for Innovation and Transformation of Luobing Theory and Professor of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University.
