The second L.C. Chan Memorial Lecture was held on 11 April 2025, featuring a keynote lecture by Professor Guo Liping, from Peking University. His lecture reviewed the development and challenges of practicing medical humanities in China. In the panel discussion, Professor Guo Liping, Dr Kong Tak-kwan, Dr Janice Tsang and Professor Alex Gearin shared their thoughts and experience on the role of narrative medicine in medical education and clinical practice.
 
The L.C. Chan Memorial Lecture in Medical Humanities was established to honour the late Professor L.C. Chan, who spearheaded the development of the medical humanities curriculum
