HKU x AJR Chapter Visiting Guest Lecture
The HKU x AJR Chapter Visiting Guest Lecture was held on 1 November 2024. The event featured two distinguished guest lecturers: Professor Wei Chai from the Chinese PLA General Hospital in Beijing, and Professor Eleftherios Tsiridis, Professor & Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery at AUTH University in Thessaloniki. The title of Professor Wei Chai's lecture was ‘The Revolution of Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery with Robotics’. Professor Eleftherios Tsiridis's lecture was titled ‘The Hip Preserving Posterior Approach Strategy: Excellent Safety and Outcome, but Why It Is Better than the Direct Anterior’. The lecture provided valuable insights into advanced surgical techniques and fostered knowledge exchange among the attendees.
