We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the 30-hour Teacher Profession Development Course 2024. This comprehensive training programme consisted of 10 modules tailored for Assistant Lecturers, equipping them with essential techniques and pedagogies for effectively teaching laboratory skills and conducting clinical supervision, thereby enhancing student learning and benefitting nursing students.

Our teachers demonstrated a commitment to updating their teaching and learning knowledge and skills. They eagerly prioritised their schedules to participate in these training opportunities and actively engaged in sharing, learning, practicing and contributing to interactive discussions. We are proud to have a team of educators who consistently strive for excellence, ensuring the implementation of effective teaching strategies in laboratory teaching and clinical supervision through an evidence-based approach. This includes familiarisation with simulation-based education, and an understanding of potential psychological challenges faced by students. This commitment to professional development leads to improved student management and exposure to various pedagogies, ensuring our nursing students benefit from high-quality instruction.
