The HKU-Pasteur Immunology Course celebrated its 11th anniversary in 2024 with a special edition co-organised by the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole (HKU-PRP) and the Centre for Immunology and Infection (C2i). Attracting participants from around the world, the course examined the transition from reductionist genetic studies in animal models to a holistic view of the human immune system.

The course included a series of seminars featuring distinguished speakers, including Professor Javier Pizzaro Cerda, Head of the Yersinia Unit, Institut Pasteur; Dr Zhang Wuji, Department of Microbiology and Immunology of the University of Melbourne; and Dr Lluis Quintana-Murci of Institut Pasteur.

HKU-PRP and C2i also presented a symposium on Quantitative Immunology, co-organised with HKSTP and supported by the Pasteur Foundation Asia, the Pasteur Network, and the Consulate of France in Hong Kong and Macau.
