The Department of Ophthalmology held a departmental retreat that brought together over 90 donors, professors, staff, students and patients for a day of sharing and collaboration. The Chairperson of the Department, Professor Christopher Leung, shared updates, achievements and future plans of the team. Professors and staff discussed research projects and teaching activities, showcasing the department's dedication to excellence. Patients shared moving testimonials, highlighting the impact of the department's work. The evening featured a delightful dinner, fostering networking and discussions. Games and a lucky draw added excitement and camaraderie to the retreat. The event provided a valuable opportunity for communication and unity within the department, inspiring all participants to continue their important work in advancing eye care and education.
