The Combined APOA Hand & Upper Limb Society 2nd Meeting and the 37th HKSSH Annual Congress was held from 28 February to 1 March, 2025 at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. The event featured a series of symposia, free paper sessions, plenary lectures and workshops, covering various topics in orthopaedics and upper limb surgery. Key sessions included discussions on shoulder replacement, wrist instabilities, congenital hand differences, nerve reconstructions, shoulder and elbow instabilities, and new technologies in upper limb surgery. The programme also included case discussions, providing participants with practical insights and valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange. The event brought together experts and professionals from around the world, fostering collaboration and advancing the field of orthopaedics and upper limb surgery.
The Combined APOA Hand and Upper Limb Society 2nd Meeting & 37th HKSSH Post Congress Workshop was held on 2 March 2025 at the HKU Surgical Skills Centre. The event featured a cadaveric workshop with sessions on carpometacarpal joint arthroplasty, total elbow arthroplasty, and reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Participants had the opportunity to learn from renowned instructors through tips and tricks, video demonstrations, discussions, and practical sessions. Participants engaged in hands-on cadaveric workshops led by experienced faculty members, enhancing their surgical skills in upper limb surgery.
