HKUMAA welcomed the Chinese New Year with warmth, camaraderie, and celebration at the HKUMAA Spring Dinner held on 6 March 2026 at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. The event brought together over 200 alumni, distinguished guests, and MBBS students.
The evening commenced with a heartfelt address by Dr Libby Lee, President of HKUMAA, who expressed her sincere gratitude to her dedicated team and all members for their steadfast support. Dr Lee emphasised the importance of unity within the alumni community.
A highlight of the evening was the sharing by Dr Donald Li, Chairman of the HKUMed 140th Anniversary Steering Committee, about plans for the Faculty's upcoming 140th Anniversary Celebrations. Dr Li outlined a series of meaningful initiatives and commemorative activities designed to honour the Faculty's rich heritage while envisioning its future development, and encouraged support and participation from all.
The night concluded with lively conversations, renewed connections, and a shared sense of pride in the HKUMed family.
