Cancer biology, immunology, gene therapy, stem cell research, development for cancer therapy, fluorescent/ bioluminescence tumor models, antibody-based assays, molecular targeting agents, inflammation-localizing dyes and angiogenesis markers.

Members have made frequent use of the in vivo animal imaging system since its installation in 2006. The system has logged over 600 hours of usage with users from the Faculty of  Medicine (Surgery, Medicine, Pathology, Anatomy, Paediatrics), Faculty Science (Chemistry) and Faculty of Engineering.
