The Natural History Museum - I studied the mathematical, physical and anatomical aspects of biomedical engineering. - After the semester, I became much more equipped with this field which is closely related to medicine. - Most importantly, I made friends who were devoted to biomedical engineering and learned much more about how professionals from their field and ours could cooperate better. What did I learn? - Social psychology, perception, traits etc. - Interesting ideas that can be applied to day-to-day life: - Even though physical teaching was cancelled, online learning through Zoom and Moodle still provided me with a rich and diverse learning environment. - Many Psychological theories, from statistics to visual perception, are closely related to medicine. - I learned that maintaining a good mode communication with my groupmates was paramount when we could only talk through digital means. Overall Reflection - The enrichment year has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me to pursue fields that interest me while enhancing my capability in Medicine holistically. - I am much grateful for the diverse opportunities offered to us by my faculty.
