Through this MPH programme, I explored new heights and challenges with new fields, new worlds and new opportunities in public health that have enriched my learning and competence as a doctor-to-be. I am glad that I could be part of the research on a novel use of certain drugs in treating ALL. This experience certainly opened myself up to the possibility of becoming a medical researcher in the future. After all, research is the only way truly helping patients. I have had a 3-month experience as an exchange student in London. I had never thought that I would fall in love with Europe. I understand that travelling is a great way of exploring the majestic world around us, realizing how small we are, and recharging ourselves for more challenges ahead. Travelling and medicine are full of uncertainties, but as long as we open ourselves up, we could make a difference!
