To enhance people's understanding on the latest development of cutting-edge medical technology in Hong Kong, and to strengthen the public's knowledge on different health issues as well as enhance their awareness on the prevention of and latest treatments for diseases, The University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine is co-organising the "Explore the World of Medicine" Public Lecture Series 2010 with the Hong Kong Public Libraries this year.
This is the fourth consecutive years that this community health education programme has been organised. Comprising a total of 8 lectures to be conducted from March to June and September to December 2010, academics from the Faculty will demonstrate their fruits of research in different medical disciplines.
