To enhance people's understanding on the latest development of cutting-edge medical technology in Hong Kong, and to strengthen the public's knowledge on different health issues as well as enhance their awareness on the prevention of and latest treatments for diseases, The University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine is co-organising the "Explore the World of Medicine" Public Lecture Series 2013 with the Hong Kong Public Libraries this year.
This is the seventh consecutive years that this community health education programme has been organised. The first half of the Lecture Series will be conducted from March to June 2013, academics from the Faculty and specialists from the Hospital Authority will share their professional knowledge and illustrate their fruits of research in different medical disciplines.

Lectures are conducted in Cantonese.
||Admission begins 15 minutes before the start of the lecture; the organiser reserves the right to refuse entry of late comers.
