on experience of selected countries, Dr G Lieu will examine the
issues and challenges Hong Kong will likely face in introducing
and implementing health targets. Specific references will be made
on how provider groups and consumers will respond when health targets
are introduced.

and How Can Health Targets Truly Benefit Hong Kong? by Prof CH Leong
Professor
CH Leong will examine the concept of health targets in the context
of Hong Kong's future health care development. He will also present
his views on the practical benefits of health targets in guiding
health care policy formulation and in shaping future healthcare
services delivery reform. In contrast, what may Hong Kong lose if
health targets are not adopted?
