Welcome Message

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has established HKU Alzheimer's Disease Research Network (HKUADR Network) of the SRT Healthy Aging, as one of the University Strategic Research Themes in 2008. The Network aims to enforce collaborative works in scientific research from public health to basic and clinical science. With the success of Alzheimer's Disease Conference in years 2010 and 2011, we organize the third Conference this year with The Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association to promote Alzheimer's Disease research in Hong Kong.

In this "Alzheimer's Disease Conference 2012: From Public Health, Basic and Clinical Sciences to Therapeutic Insights", 10 distinguished overseas and 14 outstanding local scientists and clinicians will share their experience in Alzheimer's disease, from public health, psychosocial issues, biomarkers, imaging, cognition and language, depression, to treatment, clinical trials, drug discovery and new pharmacological targets, and alternative medicine. We can learn the experience from scientists and specialists all over the world and establish collaboration via this face-to-face scientific conference. On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to participate in this important event in Hong Kong.
