Global Health Nursing and Leadership Development Workshop for Student Representatives of Southeast and East Asian Nursing Education and Research Network (SEANERN)

The HKUMed School of Nursing is dedicated to nurturing each new generation of nursing professionals and committed to further developing and improving nursing education, research, clinical practice and resources in the region.

A year after the SEANERN Memorandum Signing Ceremony held during the 7th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum in December 2017, the School, as the only signatory nursing institution in the territory, organised a Global Health Nursing and Leadership Development Workshop for SEANERN student representatives.

Students from seven different countries participated in this two-week workshop (December 3-14, 2018) at the end of year 2018 to gain an overview of global and community nursing theories and strategies, to exchange knowledge of different healthcare systems throughout the Southeast and East Asia region, and to participate in the 8th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum / 2018 International Council on Women’s Health Issues Congress.
