On March 13, 2019, 18 delegates from the Hospital Authority Hong Kong West Cluster, including Dr Theresa Li Tak-lai, Cluster Chief Executive and Ms Jane Chan Lai-hung, Cluster General Manager (Nursing) visited the School of Nursing. The delegates observed students’ lab teaching lessons and toured around the Li Shu Fan Medical Foundation Nursing Clinical Skills Laboratory and Simulation Training Centre. Here they were invited to see sophisticated and computerised manikins, simulated clinical environments and virtual reality technology (e.g. the VR Cave) being utilised to train students in total patient care and clinical decision making. It was a fruitful meeting between the delegates and the School.
