The 16th Hong Kong International Orthopaedic Forum was successfully held on April 13-14, 2019. The main theme was “Repair Replace and Recovery”. We were honoured to have Professor Jin Woo Lee from South Korea, a world renowned foot and ankle surgeon; Professor Bryan Springer from the United States and Professor Takafumi Hiranaka from Japan, masters of joint replacement surgery; and Professor Gregory Dumanian from the United States, a world expert in targeted muscle reinnervation for myoelectric limb prostheses, joining the forum and sharing their knowledge. The forum was replete with informative symposia, riveting discussion and debate sessions, all of which were well received by more than 500 participants.
