The 205th Congregation
The 205th Congregation of the LKS Faculty of Medicine was held on 20 November 2021 (Saturday) at Grand Hall, Centennial Campus, The University of Hong Kong.
The Ceremony was one of the most significant events for our Faculty's graduates. It was a memorable occasion for them to celebrate their achievements with their fellow classmates, teachers and family members. It marked the completion of an important milestone in their study life, and signifies the start of a new chapter in their life-long professional endeavours.
Professor Richard YC WONG, Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University, and our Dean Professor Gabriel M LEUNG, were the presiding officers of the faculty-based Ceremony and conferred degrees upon graduands. We were also honoured to have Ms Anita FUNG, Ex-Chief Executive Officer of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, as Guest of Honour who delivered a speech on this occasion while our Dean Professor Gabriel M LEUNG shared with the graduates and guests the Faculty's recent achievements and future development plans in his "State of the Faculty" address.
